| Two receive burns | | |

Jammu, May 16: Two persons including a minor baby received burns in separate incidents at different places.
Police sources said that a man identified as Israr-ul-Haq (22) son of Abdul Rashid of Rajouri presently at Karan Nagar received burns injuries when he tried to cook food in his house. But due to leakge of LPG gas, he caught in flames and received burns. He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where doctors stated that he received 20 percent burns.
Meanwhile, a minor received injuries when a container of hot milk accidentally fell over him. He has been identified as Ayush son of Vijay Choudhary of Jourian. Police said that family members of the victim immediately shifted to nearby hospital and after preliminary treatment doctors referred him to GMC&H for advance treatment. Doctors stated that he had received 16 percent burns. |
