Samba, July 2: To review the working of Revenue Department, Deputy Commissioner, Samba RK Verma today convened a meeting of revenue staff of the district Samba. He impressed upon the revenue staff to remain accessible to general public especially the Patwaris in their respective Halqas to redress the grievances of the people.
He also directed the concerned Revenue Staff to remain vigilant against attempts of encroachment of government land by land Mafia.
The revenue officers were unequivocally told that the concerned officer will be personally responsible in whose jurisdiction the encroachment of government property takes place or inaction where encroachment has taken place. He also instructed them to prepare all the revenue registers in proper way and also directed the supervisory staff for proper supervision. Among others ADC Samba, Inderjeet Singh, ACR MY Malik, Tehsildar, Naib- Tehsildars ,Girdawrs and Patwaris were present in the meeting. |
