Youth Congress expresses concern over growing drug menace

Srinagar, July 2: Expressing concern over the growing drug abuse in the state , Youth Congress Lok Sabha president Sheikh Aamir Rasool today laid stress on state government to intensify efforts to check the menace. In press statement issued today, Aamir Rasool said that drug abuse is the biggest problem state had been facing and urged youths to unitedly fight against drug menace. He while addressing Youth Congress workers at Batamaloo said that fighting drug menace didn't require a single effort but rather collective responsibility adding that tackling the problem should be through simultaneous actions on all fronts. He appealed to all the political parties to come forward and work sincerely to eradicate this menace. He said unless the youth are given proper employment after a proper De- addiction drive the problem will remain as it is. Others who spoke on the occasion are Youth congress Leaders Asif bhat ,Irfan lone,Owais Manzoor ,Zubair Pandow ,Zaid zahoor ,Arshid Pandow and others .
