JAMMU, July 2: The Municipal Veterinary Officer, Dr. Zafar Iqbal along with field staff on the directions of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Kiran Wattal conducted a drive against spurious quality milk and sweets in New Plot, Janipur, Talab Tillo, Roop Nagar and Muthi area.
While checking 70 qtls milk was checked and about 1-2 qtls milk was discarded into the Nehar near Pawan Ice Cream and 50 kgs of Sweets (Rasgula) was discarded and fine to the tune of Rs. 9300 has been realized from the defaulters.
The drive will remain continue in near future against all the food establishments/Sweet Shops running in the market are strictly warned and directed to ensure the supply of good quality milk and sweets to the Citizens of Jammu City. |
