Kishtwar, July 27: The people of village Kuleed, Wasser and its adjoining area today extended gratitude to District administration for starting the black topping of Kuleed Chowk to Berwar Kishtwar.
The work of black topping of road was started after the inauguration of the same was done by Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar Nazir Ahmed Ganaie. On the eve of the starting of black topping, the local people informed that the people held several protest in past in support of black topping of road which was pending since last over 10 years. They said that it was only three days continuous protest and strike by BJYM and local Sarpanch, the GREF authorities responsible for maintenance of the road finally wake up from deep slumber after DC Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan played an important role in addressing the problem. They said that with the black topping of this road stretch, the people living all around the 5 KM road stretch will get respite from dust.
