Katra, Sept 4: Keeping in view the safety of pilgrims in the wake of incessant torrential rains and also considering the weather forecast, Yatra to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine from Katra has been temporarily suspended from 4 PMonwards this afternoon till further notice.
According to Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, a close watch on the weather situation is being kept and the decision for resuming the Yatra will be taken considering the same. |
