Principal GGM Science College violating court order, alleges JKCCLA

Jammu, Sept 5 : Jammu and Kashmir College Contractual Lecturers Association (JKCCLA) today alleged that Principal GGM Science College, Professor Nutan Resutra has been violating the high court orders by not allowing contractual lecturers to continue.Addressing media persons at Press Club, JKCCLA president Kamal Kishore said that the lecturers herein filed number of writ petitions before the High Court seeking regularization of their services as lecturer in terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Act 2010 and the Court passed ad-interim directions protecting the service while ordering maintenance os status Quo. "
On application filed by the Higher Education Department, the ad-interim directions were modified while directing the department not to dislodge the writ petitioners and allow them to continue", association president said.
She further said that Principal GGM Science College Jammu, Professor Nutan Resutra who was Nodel officer for Jammu province however come in flagrant violation of the orders passed by Court when did not allow the writ petitioners to continue and work as lecturers w.e.f August 1, 2014, the writ petitioners were forced to file contempt petitions before the high court. Meanwhile, the principal of GGM Science College Professor Nutan Resutra started threatening terrorizing and used unparliamentarily language to president of the organization JKCCLA and some of the female lecturers/ writ petitioners of dire consequences and further cowed them down into submission and under pressure of threat minace being made to abandon and withdraw the contempt petitions, which have been legitimately taken up by the High court of Jammu and Kashmir. Since Professer Nutan Tesutra, Principal GGM Science College, Jammu is resorting to illegal and unfair practices to bring pressure on the writ petitioners to seek withdrawal of contempt petitions. Therefore, his action leads to interfere with the due course of Justice. Since there is as threat to the life liberty and the course of Justice resorted by Professor Nutan Resutra, as such, the JKCCLA seeks registration of necessary FIR under the relevant provisions of law.
