| Infrastructure degrading in Nagrota constituency, says Rakesh Wazir | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 4 : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) State General Secreatary and Candidate Nagrota Constituency, Rakesh Wazir, addressing series of public meetings at Sarote Mathwar, Dhanu, Agore , Gorda areas said that basic infrastructure in the constituency require special attention as the same is degrading due to neglect of the ruling legislator. He said this particularly keeping in view the importance of the area due to famous pilgrimage spot Mathwar and assured the people that Katra would be straightway connected with the area with the making of the bridge at Bamyal and up gradation of roads between Katra , Bamyal , Mathwar , Sarote area by which the distance between Katra and Mathwar will be reduced by more than 65 KMs . Wazir said that the need of the hour is the diversion of one crore visiting pilgrims of Vaishnodevi Ji to these areas so that employment and up gradation of the area is taken place. He further said that it is ironical that even after passing of more than 60 years of Indian democracy the area is still struggling with old muddy roads and the roads are not even black topped and assured the people that if he comes into power this area would be developed as new pilgrimage tourism destination with connection of Mathwar, Showa Mata and other areas with Katra and all the basic infrastructure would be developed as per metro cities standard. |
