JKNPSU criticizes VC JU | | | Ealry Times Report
Jammu, Nov 16: Jammu Kashmir National Panther Students Union (JKNPSU) has criticized Vice Chancellor of Jammu University RD Sharma for alleged dictatorial behavior. Addressing media persons, president of JKNPSU, Thakur Vidrender Singh said that University authorities were behaving like a dictator where the university was itself challenging and was not ready to accept the minutes of the council. He said that university was conducting the elections for JURSEA, which is unconstitutional body in the university and just a eyewash for the students and scholars in the university. He said that in the University Council the Lyngdoh Commission has been approved in toto for the students and scholars election. As per the Lyndogh commission there should be a single body for the students and scholars in the university. But the university is not abiding the council decision just to give the benefit to one students group in the university who have already tarnish the image of the JU a lot of time. He said that all the members of the unconstitutional JURSEA have already got engaged in the university and the body was only to give the benefits to the political goons by and large. He also said that present VC is playing in the hands of the DSW and SSVC who have so many personal interest in JU politics.
