Omar needs another adjective for Mehboob Beg as 'crook'and 'dead wood' won't do

Early Times Report

Srinagar, Nov 16: It was a rude shock for the NC supporters and leadership today as one of party stalwarts and senior leaders Mehboob Beg decided to withdraw from electoral contest in Anantnag constituency.
Beg told reporters he would not stand for the NC against PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed despite having a mandate from the NC to fight the Assembly elections against the PDP patron. Beg said he has withdrawn from the contest and extends unconditional support to Mufti Sayeed. Beg has been a star campaigner for the NC during the last many years. He was the NC Lok Sabha member from Anantnag before Mehbooba Mufti defeated him in 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Anantnag with a margin of over 42,000 votes.
NC working President and State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has used different adjectives in the past when party loyalists deserted him. When late Haji Yusuf who died under mysterious circumstances after he was summoned to CM's residence in Srinagar and later arrested by the crime branch alleged that he had given bribes to NC patron, Omar Abdullah called him a crook.
When recently Ajatshatru Singh and Sheikh Ghulam Rasool left the NC to join the PDP, Omar called them dead wood accumulated by his father. The CM also regretted his party had wasted two MLC seats by giving these to Singh and Sheikh.
Today another top leader of the NC has deserted the party midstream by refusing to fight for it against the PDP from his home constituency.
It would be stereotypical if Omar called Beg either a crook or dead wood. These adjectives have been already used and are therefore not available to be used against Beg. Omar will have to look for some better word to describe Beg's departure from the NC.
The way senior party leaders are deserting the NC it is quite possible the party working president might have to keep a whole library of latest editions of English dictionaries by his side to describe future departures from his party.
