Azad blames BJP for appearance of terror posters in Kashmir valley | | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Early Times Report Kishtwar, Nov 16: Former Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad said that he believes that it is BharityaJanta Party who was pasting terror posters of HizbulMujahadin on the walls in Kashmir valley in which people has been asked not to vote in ongoing assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. While talking to media persons on the sideline of election rally at Burdar village in Inderwal constituency of Kishtwar District, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that BJP favors low voter turnout in Kashmir so that BJP could get benefit. He said that state government must conduct an inquiry into the appearance of these terror posters. "State government must inquire whether it was actually Hizbul Mujahidin or the BJP who are pasting these posters" Azad said. Reacting to the allegation of Azad, People Democratic Party Spokesperson NayeemAkther while talking to "Early times" said that Azad is among the tallest leader of not only state, but in entire country added that whatever Azad has said must be taken seriously. He said that such posters has also appeared in the past and candidly help the National Conference; at least in 2008 Assembly elections. He said that like NC, under present circumstance some other party (BJP) can use this trick to keep the people away from voting. He said that people of Jammu and Kashmir are wise and mature enough to understand that if they fall into this game plan, they perhaps lose high stake in this game. |
