Jammu, Nov 16: Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) today organized medical camp regarding the diagnosis and management of Cardio Vascular Diseases, which was held at Bishnah. According to press release, around 300 patients were attended during the camp .The relevant tests like ECG, Blood sugar and CO check detection was done Free medicines were also distributed during the camp. The camp was organized under the supervision of Dr. Sushil, K.Sharma Head department of Cardiology along with a team of doctors which consisted of Dr, Salma, Dr. Mohi Kalsotra, Dr. D Kapoor Dr. Shabaz ,DR. Atul Sharma and paramedics including Kuldeep Saini and Kashmiri Lal. Dr. Sushil Sharma highlighted the good points, which are essential for preventing heart diseases. Regular walk, cessation of smoking, consumption of fruits and vegetables, minimizing the use of atherogenic food products, control of weight and controlling hypertension and diabetes shall be very helpful in preventing heart diseases. |
