| 3 killed, 2 critically injured in Kishtwar road accident | | | KISHTWAR, Nov 16: Three persons died while two critically injured in a tragic road accident on Kishtwar -Jammu National Highway near Kandni about 20 Kms from Kishtwar.
As per details available with Early Times, Wagon-R vehicle bearing register No JK02AP -9605 on its way to Kishtwar meet with an accident near KandniKishtwar resulting into the on spot death of three persons and injury to two other persons.
As soon as the news of accident reached Kishtwar, official of Tehsil Drabshala, SHO Police Station Kishtwar Sameer Jeelani rushed to the spot and launched rescue operation with the help of locals. After hectic efforts, the dead and injured were brought out of the ill-fated vehicle fall in deep gorge.
The deceased have been identified by police sources as Kewal Kishore, ShadiLal and Satish Kumar, all residents of KandniKishtwar, whereas the injured persons have been identified as Jugal Kishore and GopiNath, both residents of Kandni, who have been shifted from accidental site to Thathri Hospital from where both were referred to District Hospital Doda. Police has also registered the case and started its investigation. |
