Srinagar, Nov 16: A political worker of PDP was killed after suspected militants fired at him in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district late on Sunday, an official said here. He said the man, Ghulam Mohuddin Dar, who is brother of the village-head of Doglipora, was shot at in the village. Dar received bullets in his chest and abdomen. He was shifted to the Shri Maharaja Hari Singh hospital in Srinagar where he was declared brought dead, medical sources said. Sources said that Dar's father was killed by suspected militants during parliamentary elections held earlier this year. Suspected militants had issued warning to pro India groups against participating in the state elections scheduled for November-December. A local from Doglipora said Dar was associated with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
