| Over 6 kgs charas recovered, three held | | | Udhampur, Dec 31: Police today arrested three narcotics smugglers and recovered 6.100 kgs of Charas from their possession during a naka cheking near Krimachi Udhampur, police sources said.
According to the police sources, based on reliable information, Police party led by SHO Police Station Udhampur Mahesh Sharma under the supervision of SSP Udhampur, Mohd Suleman Choudhary, intercepted a TATA Mobil bearing Regd No JK03A-1059, at Krimchi and subjected the vehicle on though search.During search the police recovered 6 Kgs and 100 gms of charas from possession of three accused.
The accused have been identified namely as Bilal Ahmed, Raja Talad Taskeen (both from Katu Brijbehara, Anantnag) and Mohd Aslam of Lambi Gali Udhampur.
On this, case Fir 465/14 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigations started. |
