HC’s directive to CAPD Secy, Director in misappropriation of food grains 12/31/2014 11:16:02 PM Jammu, Dec 31 : A high court division bench of chief justice M M Kumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh today directed CAPD Secretary and Director to remain present in the court in person in case the status report was not filed by the adjourned date in the PIL regarding misappropriation of food grains meant for public. The bench, after hearing the two sides, observed that the government advocate had requested for one last opportunity to comply with the court directions for filing the status report. "We make it clear that if the status report is not filed by the adjourned date, the CAPD Secretary and Director shall remain present in person along with their records to show cause as to why the court directions have not been complied with," the court directed.
