BSP expresses concern over double standard of Prime Minister | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 31: Jammu unit of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) led by Tulsi Dass Langeh today expressed grave concern over the double standard of Central Government of India led by Narinder Modi Prime Minister of India in implementing the judgments of Supreme Court of India. He said the judgments of Supreme Court favoring their interest are implemented forthwith, whereas judgments favoring the interests of people of the country are not being implemented deliberately either this way or that way. Langeh said that the elections to the Assemblies of various states including Jammu & Kashmir were held in violation of the judgment of Supreme Court of India dated 08th Oct. 2013 , wherein the Supreme Court had held that the present E.V.M'S's system needs overhauling and must be changed to keep people's faith in Elections. The Supreme Court had directed the Election Commissioner of India and the Union Government to introduce "PAPER TRAIL" while polling so that the voter should know whether his/her vote has been cast the way he wanted. Bahujan Samaj Party leader further said that in the recent held Assembly Election of Jammu & Kashmir the leaders of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) who were not popularly known in the public have secured votes to such a height which were beyond the expectation of the people. |
