SSP asks personnel to ensure security, safety on Republic Day

Kathua, Jan 23: SSP Kathua Pawan Parihar today asked the police personnel to ensure security and safety along International Borders and Republic Day functions being performed in several tehsils and Schools of District Kathua.
SSP said he has been satisfied by different security agencies deployed along International Border in Kathua and Hiranagar sector where no place has left insecure to foil any bid of infiltration.
He said BSF, Army, IRP and Police contingents have been deployed along IB. He said vigil checking has been done by SDPOs and SHOs of Rajbagh 24 hrs a day.
He forbade people to believe in rumors as joint Police-Army control room has been installed before USA President Barrack Obama's Visit on Republic Day.
