Vijaypur, Feb 10: Congress activist today lambasted state government for registering FIR against the army men, here outside the SDM Office.
The protest held under the leadership of Arun Sharma Senior Congress Leader. A large number of congress activist assembled in outside the SDM office Vijaypur today after noon. They raised slogan and shouting against the coalition government. They alleged that few days ago some people attacked in army at Shopian Srinagar and tried to snatch their weapons. The army person opened fire in defence resulting three local people was killed. They demanded to the coalition government the case against the army is to be withdrawn.
Arun Sharma Senior congress Leader said that the coalition government failed in all fronts it is a big sad thing that those who serve us but the police registered the FIR against them. They demanded immediately withdraw the FIR registered against the army men otherwise congress party will come on road and strong protest against coalition government. This government is putting down their morale by registering a case on the army. Later they were submitted a memorandum to Sub District Magistrate Vijaypur. Among other those present Rash Pal Choudhary, Gushan Sharma, Gambir Singh, Raj Kumar, Raju Sharma and Basakhi Ram. |
