Sunjwan attack eye opener for PDP
2/11/2018 12:30:00 AM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb10: Terrorists barging into Sunjwan Military Station here has once again rattled the peace in Jammu region and has exposed the nefarious designs of Pakistan. This attack should serve as an eye opener for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which has been harping that cross LoC trade with Pakistan should continue and talks process be re-initiated.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "PDP leaders sabotaged the resolution moved by the BJP in the House to condemn the killing of four soldiers near LoC in Rajouri sector. It's unfortunate that despite it being a ruling party it has no guts to take a bold stand against Pakistan."
He said, "It's high time for PDP to change its soft policy towards terrorists, separatists and Pakistan. These people have been bleeding us for long and we cannot tolerate it."
A politician said, "The PDP should stop harping about opening cross LoC routes and terming cross LoC trade as the biggest confidence building measure. The party should understand that Pakistan is the biggest enemy of people of Jammu and Kashmir and no talks can be held with a country like Pakistan."
He said, "PDP should not act as impediment if Ministry of Home Affairs decides to call off the cross LoC trade as killings and trade cannot go together."
