District admin conducts inspection of ZEO, found locked

Rajouri, Feb 10: Following the directions of Deputy Commissioner, a surprise inspection of the office of Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) office at Khawas was conducted by Hakim Shah, tehsildar and found the office locked.
According to reports, after his arrival at ZEO's office, a IVth class employees turned up and opened the room where tehsildar conducted the inspection.
Tehsildar, in his report to Deputy Commissioner, said that the office running in a rented room and on inquiring from the owner of the building, it was established that the ZEO was absent from duty for the last few days.
Tehsildar added that a fourth class employee when reached the office, photography and video recording of the ZEO office was conducted for record and official records including movement register of the ZEO, attendance of the staff was locked in the almiraha for further inquiry.
Fourth class employee informed the Tehsildar about the staff posted in this office which include ZEO, Abdul Rashid; Abdul Rashid, senior assistant; Abdul Manan, junior assisrtant & Punjab Singh, peon.
Hakim Shah, tehsildar has forwarded the inspection report to Deputy Commissioner for further action.
