Poonch, Feb 16: Although union government to make neat and clean India launched a cleaning drive Swach Bharat Mission (SBM) but Poonch administration traducing the mission.
According to the sources, in front of the office of the deputy commissioner Poonch, the dumping garbage is proving the negligence of district administration Poonch especially deputy commissioner Poonch who moves from there and ignored the issue.
Locals including Wali Mohd Sheikh, Abdul Rashid Shahpuri and others said, there are many government institutions including DC office, office of the CEO municipality, girls higher secondary school Sheesh Mahal and boys high school Purani Poonch from where deputy commissioner, ADC, ADDC, ACR among many other gezited officers move from here and don't look towards the dust. Girls students, Farzana, Rihanna, Mehmooda and Rizwana expressed their resentments over carelessness of district officers and said "where is SBM"? They have appealed to chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to take strict action into the matter. |
