Poonch, Feb 18: Sheep Husbandry department staff of Mendhar have registered complaint against former district Sheep Husbandry officer Poonch for his derogatory manner of working ,in the office of the concerned minister sources said here today.
Sources said the concerned staff in the complaint alleged that the then district Sheep Husbandary Officer Poonch Dr . BC Sharma have been indulged in corrupt practices. He used to withdraw money on fraudulent and fake bills. They alleged in the complaint that many Government of India Schemes including RKVY from 2013 to 2017 , he embezzled lakhs of rupees but no action was taken against him. He appointed several class IV employees and demanded money from them . Some locals were employed by him yet who paid money but were not engaged where demanding their money back which was a talk of the town , they alleged in the complaint . Many TSP Units were purchased which were existing only in papers and bills and nothing was visible on the ground they further alleged in the complaint . He has been very rude in behaviour to his sub staff working under him and most often use to harass them with filthy language said Navneet Sudan working as flock man in the department . He also said while talking to Early Times that Dr Sharma along with other official have withdrawn money on fake medical bills whereas no medicines have been purchased. Sources said the news report carried by Early Times regarding encroachment of sheep farm land by locals in Ari seems to be facilitated to them by Dr Sharma due to his doubtful credentials.
There are series of complaints against Dr BC Sharma in the office of the concerned minister which will be handed over to vigilance organisation for their verification sources said, adding the staff of Sheep Husbandry Department was eating a humble pie during the tenure of Dr BC Sharma who has been recently teransferred.
