Vijaypur, Feb 20: Retired police personnel hold protest against state government at Vijaypur for their demands in District Samba here today.
The protest held under the leadership of State president Ajit Singh and Distt. President Raghubir Singh. According to the report, a large number of retired police personnel assembled in block ground Vijaypur. They raised slogan and shouting against the state government. They alleged that police personnel also live every step ahead in the service of the country and the state.
Jammu Kashmir suffers from militants and Pakistan is shot on the border on the day and at that time, police personnel join forces with the shoulder and protect the public in difficult times. Ajit Singh president of forum demanded to the state government the children of the retired police personnel should also be provided facilities to police personnel like reservation in police recruits and facilities available to the army on the lines of army and they should also get the benefits of becoming a one rank one pension. Among other those present in the protest including District President Rahghubir Singh and many other retired police personnel. |
