Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 20: JKNPP Supremo, Prof. Bhim Singh demanded high level probe into the illegal settlement of foreigners in Jammu municipal limits of Jammu District and their trans country entry into Jammu & Kashmir which does not allow non state subject/outsiders to stay in the state. He said that the illegal entry into J&K State of Bangladeshi/Mamynar inhabitants has been apparently facilitated by permission of the Govts. in power at the Center & State, whereas 6 Lakh West Pakistani Refugees who are settled here for over 70 years are not granted citizenship rights and state subject certificates.
Bhim Singh raised some questions in this connection that how many foreigners (Bangladeshis, Rohingyas and others) have been settled in and around Jammu city within the Municipal limits from 1991 till date?, when they entered Jammu Municipal limits and from which direction North or South?, under what law, Government of Jammu & Kashmir settled them within the municipal limits of peace loving city of Jammu?, what kind of legal document they are having to justify their stay in J&K?, who/which government of Jammu & Kashmir allotted them land and under what authority?, what is the status of the land?
Is it forest land?, under what authority foreigners have been allotted such property to build houses which is forest land and no foreigners can be allotted state land?, how many foreigners settled in Jammu municipal limits or holding Aadhar Card? How many have been issued ration cards by state govt.? Who provided them such Aadhar Cards?, in which schools children of foreigner settlers in Jammu are studying?, how many minors are begging in the streets of Jammu municipal limits?, how many such foreigners own land/shops/business centers in Jammu city?
