Poonch, Mar 15 : A physically challenged woman has been making rounds of BDO's office Mendhar for the release of payment of bath room which she was asked to construct under Prime Minister's Shochalaya Scheme source said here today.
Razia Begum wife of Ghulam Rasool of Gursai has constructed a bath room under PM's Shochalaya Scheme three years ago on the assurance that concerned Block Development office will pay for it. She while narrating her ordeal to Early Times said. I am a disabled person and cannot travel but the officials in BDO office have been making me rounds, Still than no money was given to me.
She said I was also told that my Kucha’s house will be constructed with concrete under centrally sponsored scheme but it all seems a distant dream She said, adding my hard earned money which I spent on construction of Bathroom on the assurance of BDO's office Mendhar seems to be going down the drain as officials pay no heed to my pleas for the last three years.
She in an appeal urged the District Development Commissioner Mukhtiar Sheikh to take strong notice of the matter and initiate inquiry why my payment is not being released by the officials, She added |
