| NYK organises Inter youth clubs block level sports tournament | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Mar 15: Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch Ministry of Youth & Affairs Government of India has organized two days Inter Youth Clubs Block Level Sports Tournament at Govt. High school Kalai. In this tournament Volleyball, Kabaddi, tug of war, race and long jump events were organized. Mohd Zaffar (Sarpanch Panchayat Hulka Kalai) was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed the prizes among the players. While speaking on the occasion chief guest instructed the youth to take part in the game and sports to make your contributions in the fast developing India. The chief guest is also actively involved in channelizing the energy of youth in the right direction and efforts of Nehru Yuva Kendra in the same direction is an applicable step. He said adding that every Indian is stockholder in the process of national integration and development. Other prominent persons present on the occasion included Head master and staff of the school. In this tournament about 150 youth players took part in different events like Kabaddi, Volleyball, race, Long jump and tug of war. National Youth volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch also participated in this tournament. |
