| RET Forum hold monthly meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 18: JK ReT teachers forum held its monthly meeting in Sahid Bhagat Singh Park Udhampur under the chairmanship of its District President Kuldeep Katoach and attended by Large number of RETs from all Zones of District Udhampur.
In the meeting State Sr Vice Chairman Bhupinder Singh was also Present as special invitee. While speaking on the occasion, Bhupinder singh criticised the State government to not streamline and delink the salary of Rets and Rets working under SSA, even Ministers of Government assured us so many times to streamline the salary issue but nothing has been done till time and as a result the families of the teachers are on the verge of starvation. Bhupinder Singh also said that We are not interested in agitations and committed to universalize education but when we are deprived from our basic rights, the government forced us to lock our schools and come on roads for salary.
Singh also appealed Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir to intervene personally in the matter of salary issue and Convert all SSA Posts to State Non Plan as we are working under State government and even Higher Authorities of Education department of State government issued us regularization orders and now it is responsibility of State Government to streamline our salaries from State Budget. |
