BMO Kandi conducts surprise visit of SCs

Rajouri, Mar 18: Block Medical Officer, Kandi paid a surprise visit to Sub-centre Siari, and Sub-Centre Kewal More, on the inputs of absenteeism from the locals of the area and found that both the Sub Centre locked.
All the employees viz Jabeen Anjum FMPHW and Mohammad Shabir Pharmacist posted in the said Sub-Centre Siari and Santous Kumari FMPHW (NHM) and Ghulam Mohd Safaiwala posted at Sub-Centre Kewal More were found absent from their duties. Taking stern action to ensure proper health care services for the people in Rural areas and a case of gross negligence putting the lives of people at risk, all the employees are placed under suspension with immediate effect. It is in placed to mention here that Tariq Wani, Male Multipurpose of S/C Kewal More, deputed to Kulgam District for the last two years and post of Female Multipurpose is lying vacant for the last four year. Dr. Malik further told that as per the instructions of higher authorities no compromise shall be made in implementing the schemes of Health department on the ground, in which poor patients are to be benefitted at all corners and surprise visits shall be made time to time. He also said that if any Employee of Kandi Block shall be found non- serious towards his/her duties, action under rules shall be taken accordingly.
