BYS celebrates 'Sathapana Divas'

Jammu, Apr 8: Bhartya Yog Sansthan J&K today celebrated 52nd Sathapana Divas at various parts of Jammu city and adjoining areas. Established first Kendra at Delhi on 10 April 1967 by Late Parkash Lal ji, Bhartya Yog Sansthan is in the service of humanity for the last 51 years providing the services to the masses free of cost. Today Bhartya Yog Sansthan has over 110 Yog Kendras in J&K and over 3200 centres in India and all over the world. It draws its inspiration from the lofty human ideals of Bharatiya culture viz 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam' - Entire Universe Is Our Family and 'Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu', 'Sarve Bhaventu Sukhina' - may all be happy, may all being rejoice in joy and happiness and the like as 'Live 'N' Liven' - may all live for the service of humanity and inspire others to live in the service of Almighty. To fulfill this aim Sansthan has chosen Yog as its means. Gandhi Nagar zone of BYS J&K celebrated the function at Green Belt Park. More than 100 participants from Gandhi Nagar, Trikuta Nagar and Channi took part in the Yog Sadhana. K B Jandial (IAS Rtd.) well known personality was the Chief guest and Sh. R.R. Khajuria renowned social worker was the guest of honor. Yog Sadhna by the participants was demonstrated.
