JAMMU, Apr 8: Vishal Shree Chandi Mata Jagran held at Ved Mandir, Amphalla last night with religious fervor and enthusiasm.
Surdeshan Pujarui ji of Vaishno Devi shrine and group of pujari's from Machail-Padder, Kishtwar, and entire committee of Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha, family members of Machail Mata's Pratham Sewak Thakur Kulbir Singh ji were special invites and conduct the ritual of Poojan.
Organized by Shree Chandi Mata Sewa Samiti, Karan Nagar under the aegis of Shree Institute of Education and Nanda Builders, it was co-sponsored by Child Word, Raghunath Bazaar and Bushan Radio Gumat Bazar. Over 7000 devotees from entire Jammu city participated in the jagran and took the blessings of Goddess Chandi Mata. The atmosphere of jagran premises was charged with the devotion and the devotees offered special prayers for peace and harmony of the state. Amid, 'mata rani ke Jaikara' the jagran was commenced with Ganash Vandana followed by Mata Chandi ke Bhajans in Dogri, Hindi and Paddri language. Naveen Punjabi surcharged the atmosphere by reciting over dozen Punjabi and Dogri Bhajans of Shiva and Chandi Mata. The music artists from Jammu and Punjab also enthralled the audience with their skills on various instruments. The stage was ably managed by senior TV artist Parveen Sharma.
Faridabad based group setup 'Mata Ka Darbar', lightning and decoration was done by Amritsar based group while sound and music system by Jallandher based artists.
Earlier, Suneet Kumar Raina, MD Shree Institute alongwith other members of Jagran committee and dignitaries lighted the Akhand Jyoti and performed Aarti Poojan. Speaking on the occasion, Suneet Kumar Raina told that the management has been organizing Jagran dedicated to Maa Machail for the wellbeing of humanity and to built mutual coexistence. He also announced special scholarship for meritorious students and students from BPL families at Shree Institute.
Suneet also thanked district administration Jammu for making elaborate arrangements of power, water and cleanness and security at the Jagran venue and surrounding to avoid any inconvenience to the devotees.
Jugal Kishor Sharma-Member Parliament Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha constituency, Sat Sharma MLA Jammu West, Ramesh Arora MLC, Subash Jaindal VC SIDCO were also presented on the occasion.
