| Udhampur, Apr 8: A man today allegedly murdered his uncle reportedly over land dispute at village Sattian falling under the jurisdiction of Ramnagar police station. Police spokesman said that acting on the information received at Ramnagar police station that a person named Sheru Ram of Sattian Ramnagar forcibly entered into the house of one Chet Ram (75) son of Kund of Sattian at around 0430 hours and attacked him with an axe. The victim died on spot and the accused also attacked the wife of deceased with the axe resulting in severe injuries to her. A case under FIR no.53/18 under sections 449, 307, 302 of RPC registered and the accused have been arrested while further investigation is underway. |
