| Agriculture officer conducts visit of various areas | | | Jammu, Apr 13: Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer R S Jamwal accompanied by Officers/ officials of Department of Agriculture Zone Bhalwal conducted extensive touring of Circle Ranjan and Jandial of Zone Bhalwal to inspect the agricultural and allied activities at various locations in the panchayats of Ranjan and Jandial. The officers also visited the apple nursery grown by Surinder Kumar of Ranjan and appreciated his work. The farmers were also advised to adopt organic farming &proper package and practices optimize their yield. The farmers were also sensitized about the various centrally sponsored schemes like Pradhan Mantri Fasal BimaYojna (PMFBY) and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojna (PMKSY). SDAO Marh also inspected various fertilizer sale points/dealers operating in ZONE Bhalwal regarding the functioning of POS machines for sale of fertilizers.
