Early Times Report
Poonch, Apr 13: : Due to unholy nexus of private clinics and diagnostic laboratories with the medicos and paramedical staff of sub district Hospital Mendhar, the patients are advised to get the tests done from specific diagnostic, laboratories and private clinics which make fortunes by luring the gullible people all over the Mendhar sub division sources said here today.
30 bedded Govt Sub -district Hospital is well equipped with the basic testing facilities while as the doctors and the para medical staff advise the patients to get tests done from specific laboratories and clinics only which clearly indicates that these laboratory and clinics owners wre hand in glove with the doctors and para medical staff of SDH Mendhar for wrong practices, sources said.
The people come to visit the SDH Mendhar from far and remote areas to avail some facilities at the Govt hospital but they have to return disappointed as their pleas are unheeded. They are specifically asked to get tests done at private clinics and laboratories . When Government is providing such facilities is a million dollar question.
Meanwhile social activist of the area, Mushtaq Ahmed has urged DDC Poonch, Mohd Aijaz Asad to direct Chief Medical officer Poonch Dr Mumtaz Bhatti and take cognizance of the matter by initiating and enquiry against the medicos and para medical staff of SDH Mendhar as well as check the private diagnostic laboratories and clinics in the sub didvison to break the unholy nexus and ensure to provide medical facilities available in the hospital to the locals, he added.
