| Football tournament held at Doda | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Apr 16: A district level inter zone `Let us play' football" tournament under the centrally sponsored scheme in which different age groups of boys and girls held at sport stadium Doda.
In the said tournament around 580 boys and girls from different schools of the district are participating in the tournament which was inaugurated by DC Doda Bhawani Singh Rakhwal in presence of DYSSO Doda Ashok Kumar Kotwal.
It is for the first time in the history of Doda that girls are participating in any of the football game. DC Doda appreciated the efforts of the department for organising such a level of tournament at Doda.
The tournament is being held under the chief patronage of Director General YSS Fayaz Ahmed Sheikh (KAS) and under the guidance of Joint Director Madan Lal
Various officials of the department of youth services and sports remain present at the venue. Bhalla, Bhaderwah and Gundna were declared as winner in Girls Under 12, U 16 & U 19 respectively. |
