Jammu, Apr 16: J&K Grameen Bank is conducting GOI campaign "Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan" from April 14 to May 5, 2018 throughout the J&K State.
Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department under the chairmanship of RK Chhibber is conducting Govt of India campaign on the theme of "Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan" 14th of April to 5th of May 2018 in the remote unbanked villages of District Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua, Samba & Kishtwar. Vipan Gupta, Senior Manager, MF&FI Department, J&K Grameen Bank, reviewing the Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan a special multi-departmental and multi-sectoral initiative for reaching out to the poor households in villages of Districts Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua, Samba & Kishtwar. The special initiative will intensively focus on saturation of villages under these programmes viz Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Ujala Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).The activities scheduled to be carried during the mission period include Samajik Nyaya Diwas (Social Justice Day) on April 14th to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar, Swachh Bharat Diwas on April 18th, Ujjwala Diwas on April 20th, Rashtriya Panchayat Raj Diwas on April 24th, Gram Swaraj Diwas on April 28th, Ayushmaan Bharat Diwas on April 30th, Kisan Kalyan Diwas on May 2nd and Aajeevika Diwas on May 5th, 2018. The initiative also plans to spread awareness regarding the various schemes of the bank with special rate of interests including Car [email protected]%, Housing [email protected]% and Transport Loan@9%. |
