Jammu, Apr 25: Guide Wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Bharat Scouts and Guides held a symposium on the topic "Service of parents, is service to Lord" at S.H.Q, Gandhi Nagar, Near General Post Office. Kanta Rakwal , Addition Dy Commissioner District Jammu was the Chief Guest on this occasion whereas Smt Chanchal Kour, District Sports Officer Jammu, and Nirmal Mahanta, Principal DPS Public School, Raj Bhag, Kathua presided over the function. Raj Bharti, Advisor and Mtr Nasreen Khan ji, Advisor were the Guests of Honour. The Key spoke persons were Divya, RM Public School, Ananya Choudhary, Shiksha Niketan Jeewan Nagar, Pallavi Magotra, JK Police Public School, Ifra Malik, Model Academy, Vashali, New ERA School, Vanshika, Shangrila Public School, Guneet Kour, JK Montessori School Talab Tillo, Riya Thakur, Shiksha Niketan Gandhi Nagar, Adeeba Naz, Alexander Memorial Hr Sec School and Miss Janvi Sharma, Lawrence Public School Panjtirthi. I.D Soni, State Commissioner(S) took active part and gave his views on the topic in the Symposium in a very impressive and touching manner. He said that the current education is a cult of separation. A new education of integration is needed. Today, disintegration is setting in. Woman is the centre of social integration.
Only women can rebuild this shattered world and bring in integration at all levels and lead the world upward, through their intuition, their simplicity, their sympathy, their spiritual aspirations, their purity and their silent sacrifice. |
