| Carmel Convent School observes World's Health Day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 25: Carmel Convent Higher Secondary School celebrated the "World's Health Day" organised by the 'Health Club' members of Standard 3rd and 5th on the theme "Cleanliness is next to Godliness". The function began with a prayer dance and a special assembly was held, highlighting the importance of being clean. A play on the given theme was staged which showcased the need to be fit and healthy and the main focus of the play was to give information and awareness about Cleanliness. The school nurse Rosy briefed about the personal hygiene and demonstrated the seven steps of washing hands properly through a power Point Presentation. She also urged the students to save water. At the end, the Principal of the school Sister Maria Swati A.C enlightened the students with her inspirational words and stressed upon the need to use water judiciously. |
