| Bhandari re-nominated CPPWU Chairman | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, May 18: A meeting of Kishtwar youths was held today under the banner of Chinar Power Projects workers union .The meeting was chaired by Joginder Bhandari , in the meeting various issued related to the absorption of local youths in Pakal Dul Hydroelectric project was discussed at length.
The participants while speaking on the occasion demanded priority of employment should be given to the local skilled, Semi-skilled and un-skilled youths of District Kishtwar. They also said that project effected people should be given top priority of employment in the said project. Joginder Bhandari , a youth leader of District Kishtwar while speaking on the occasion informed the meeting that the management of AFCONS Infrastructure limited which has been entrusted with the responsibility to execute the power house of Pakal Dul HEP are planning to appoint manpower on transfer basis for this project. He also said that the local youths so engaged in the project will be kept on local monthly roll and the manpower to be engaged on transfer basis will be kept on HO roll. Bhandari has threatened of dire consequences in case manpower is engaged on transfer bases and demanded that the local youths of District Kishtwar should be kept on HO roll since the local youths are well experienced as they had executed various Hydroelectric projects like DHEP and BHEP. |
