| Investiture ceremony organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 18: Student Council Members of APS Kaluchak (Juniors as well as seniors) for the current academic session were sworn in on Friday at an impressive Investiture ceremony, amidst an air of gusto and anticipation. The new academic session 2018-19 ushered the formation of a new Council Body with a promising bunch of students with immense potential and outstanding leadership qualities imbued in them.
It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. The deserving young leaders were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with commitment and dedication. Council Body selection is the part of education that enhances the leadership qualities and imparts managerial skills in the children which has become a necessity in modern journey of success.
The rite attained its height when the new Council Body Members were administered the oath of office and sworn in by Hem Lata Vishen , Principal APS Kaluchak. A total of 60 new members were given their respective sashes and sworn in, beginning with the Head Boy, Divya Manhas (XII) and Head Girl, Harpreet Kour (XII). Hem Lata Vishen expressed her faith in the power of 'Service before Self'.
Furthermore she guided the young torch bearers of the school to work in harmony and craft a productive synergy by not just creating the change but by being the change.
The whole ceremony was witnessed by the teachers, students and the proud parents of the elected members of the Student Council. |
