| People stage protest against PHE department | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, June 18: The residents of Karroh village today held strong protest against PHE Department at Front of DC Office under the Leadership of S.K Bhandari district president RJD unit Kathua. A large number of people, including women, assembled at DC Office Kathua while demanding regular water supply. S.K Bhandari said that from the past some months there is no drinking water supply in village and they are suffering to meet their basic requirements. They added that PHE Department has shown no concern over their plight. The protesting women lamented that the concerned department had taken them for granted and alleged that the concerned officials of the PHE Department are least bothered about the supply of drinking water to their residential area.
We are unable to get water while our children are ridiculed for their no fault as they sometimes have to go to school wearing dirty uniforms and even without taking bath. |
