Pradesh Mahila Congress organizes silent march
6/18/2018 11:18:32 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, June 18: Pradesh Mahila Congress organized a silent march from Pradesh Congress Headquarters to D.C office Jammu and handed over a memorandum to be sent to Governor of J&K. The procession was led by General Secretary & In charge J&K Nagma along with Indu Pawar, President Pradesh Mahila Congress J&K, office bearers of Pradesh Mahila Congress & workers of Congress Party. Memorandum presented, highlights failure of state coalition Govt. of BJP/PDP to protect life & property of people, in restoring confidence of security forces fighting militancy in Kashmir valley. Government should take visible steps on ground to minimize woes of the Border residents who are suffering time and again. In-spite of tall claims & promises by PDP/BJP Govt. in state & BJP Govt at centre, the border people are constantly suffering and every now & then they are on roads as state as well as centre Govt. could not provide/full-filed the promised made to Border people. Promises made to Border residents be full-filed at faster and earliest so that they can heave a sigh of relief. A high level commission be appointed to probe charges of corruption and scams committed by BJP/PDP Government in J&K during last three years of their rules. Government should strengthen anti graft institutions like State Accountability Commission (SAC) to investigate charge of corruption against politicians. Government should take some effective steps to check the rising prices of essential commodities.
