Early times report Jammu, June 19: The Bharatiya Janata Party has pulled out from the ruling alliance with the Peoples Democratic Party in Jammu and Kashmir.
The decision to pull out from the government was taken by the BJP National President Amit Shah after taking all the BJP ministers and leaders on the board.
Addressing a news conference in New Delhi the senior BJP leader Ram Madhav blamed PDP for failing to handle the situation in the Valley and living upto the expectations of the people.
Madhav said that Governor’s rule would be imposed in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, the National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah told reporters in New Delhi that his party won’t support any party and are in favour of Governor’s rule being imposed in the state.
It may be recalled that Early Times in its today’s edition had carried a news story that “Is J&K heading for President’s rule.”
Early Times had reported that BJP leadership is seriously thinking to break alliance with PDP as a group within the party was of the opinion that alliance with PDP proved counterproductive for the Saffron Brigade.
