DC Kishtwar directs detachments in Edu Deptt

Kishtwar, July 2: Acting on the report submitted by the three-member committee headed by ADDC Kishtwar, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana on Monday directed in-charge Chief Education Officer Kishtwar to detach all the teachers and master grades attached in prime educational institutions like DIET, ZEO Offices, Principals of GHSS/ HSS, Headmaster GHS/ HS, particularly attached from rural areas to Kishtwar town and its vicinity.
As per the details available with Early Times, following DC Kishtwar directions, CEO Kishtwar vide order No. CEO/K/2018/27572-622, ordered the detachments of teachers and master grade by Tuesday.
"Referred to the subject sighted above. In this connection you were asked to detach all the attached teaching staff working in your respective offices/institutions vide this office order No. CEO/K/2018/24202-272, dated 25-05-2018 and to furnish the compliance report to this office which is still awaited from your side.
"You are once again herby directed to furnish the compliance report to this office on 3-07-2018 by or before 11 am positively. In case of non-compliance the salary of the concerned DDO will be kept withheld for the month of June 2018 onwards" reads the order.
Meanwhile, the helpless I/C CEO Kishtwar failed to implement his own order with regard to handing over of the charge of the establishment section to senior assistant presently in possession of an influential master attached in the CEO Office Kishtwar for last 10 years, forcing the clerks in Kishtwar to threaten protest in case the I/C CEO Kishtwar fails to implement his own order.
The angry clerks said that influential teachers and masters are calling shots in CEO Office Kishtwar by holding various charges meant for the clerks, junior assistants and senior assistants as a result of which the clerks fail to work at its full capacity and called for bringing an end to this practice.
The angry clerks called upon Governor N N Vohra and his advisor to take the note of this illegal practice and direct the concern authorities to utilized services of teaching staff for only teaching purpose.
"In the interest of administration and smooth functioning/stream lining of the office work-Kavi Raj Senior Assistant shall hold the charge of general establishment (Gazetted /Non gazetted) with immediate effect. Moreover Shahnawaz Master, I/C EMIS, establishment, SSA and RMSA is directed to handover the charge of general establishment to Kavi Raj, senior assistant hence forth," read the CEO Kishtwar order issued vide No. CEO/K/2018/24610-14 Dated 31-5-2018.
