| Former DC Poonch owes explanation allege locals | | | MS Nazki

Poonch, July 6: Former District Development Commissioner Poonch, T A Zargar now Director Information Department J&K, have been alleged by the locals that he was pathetic approach to his deeds and never listened to the please of poor people of the district, sources said here today.
Talking to Early Times a group of people outside office of Incumbent DDC Poonch Aijaz Asad, alleged that former DDC was pathetic in approach to the people and left many works undone and hundreds of files of different cases of people were biting dust in the office they said. Several SRO cases were also lying in files only of the gullible people which he never saw in his tenure they alleged.
He used not to listen to anybody who so ever comes to his office. He never hold any public darbar in any place of the district so that people could apprise * of their problems. The only thing which was as its peak was the corruption, they alleged. All the departments including health and PHE, were not working upto the satisfaction of general public. In his period the situation of the district was in shambles in all respects they further alleged. He was than attached to General Administration Department for his incompetence, they added.
Locals expressed their resentment against their Former DDC Poonch T A Zargar and asked for an explanation as he was a non performing officer and did nothing for people during his tenure, who was later attached to GAD and now appointed as Director Information J&K. They said such a non performing officer was not worth to be appointed on such a coveted post. |
