| Authorities playing with future of admission seekers: JJSF | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 26: JJSF today held a massive protest demonstration at Cluster University campus GGM Science College Jammu against the dictatorial attitude of administration regarding the admission process in the colleges coming under the Cluster University. Hundreds of the aspirants who are struggling to get the admission in the City Colleges for the session 2018-19 were treated mercilessly and were bluntly refused by the University administration for admission. After seeing the dictatorial attitude of the administration the aspirants under the leadership of Atul Sudan (State Vice President JJSF) started raising slogans against the Cluster University administration. Addressing the massive gathering of the admission seekers Atul Sudan said that it is very unfortunate that instead of increasing the capacity of the city colleges the administration in connivance with the state government is hell bent to destroy the future of student community of Duggar region as the capacity of the city colleges was almost 15000 which is reduced to 6100 for this session.
He said that students who have passes their higher secondary examinations have every right to take admission in the colleges for further studies. He also said that this dictatorial attitude of the university authorities may ruin the future of those students belonging to rural areas who could not afford to take tuitions or those students who had to extend helping hands to their parents in agricultural activities due to which they could not compete with the other students. |
