| 4 injured in road accident | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Aug 4: Four persons had a narrow escape in a road mishap in the afternoon today in Rajouri district when the car in which they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell in the fields on Jammu-Poonch highway.
The injured have been identified as 39 years old Arun Kumar, 50 years old Subhash Chander, 48 years old Chandan Kumar and Akshay Kumar.
Sources said all the four were on way to Poonch from Jammu in a car bearing registration No.JK11-2857. When reached near village Narian the driver lost control on the car and it skidded off the road and fell in the fields at about 2.30 pm.
Locals rushed to accident site, informed the police and rescued the injured to district hospital at Rajouri and till the filing of this report were stable and responding to the treatment.
Pertinently, on Friday a Tavera Taxi was also skidded off the road in the same area in which 7 persons were injured including two critically. Incidentally the Taxi was also carrying the passengers from Jammu to Poonch. |
