| Deputation of POJKSIF calls on PRO Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 27: A deputation of All J&K POJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum under the leadership of its President Advocate Amrik Singh met with the Provincial Rehabilitation Officer (PRO) Jammu. In connection with the difficulties and hardships being faced by the refugees individual while completing their documents to receive the Ex-gratia grant of Rs. 5.50 lakh sanction by the Government of India in favour of the POJK 1947 Sharnarthi.
That the complaints of the every individual was discussed with PRO Jammu. The deputation urged upon the PRO to get minimize documentation whose Legal requirement is necessary. The widows and aged persons may be treated on priority basis. Further, the agent system and land Mafia black mailer beyond the PRO office be cheeked so that they may not be able to black mail to the innocent/ illiterate refugees. The PRO patiently listen the grievances of the every individual of the deputation some of the problem were sorted/out on spot and many a problems are being also assured to be sorted out at the earliest. Further, PRO assured to the deputation that whosoever have any complaint against his staff they can straight way come to my office and action will be taken on spot. |
