Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 27: Exasperated by the various scandals exposed by the Early Times Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar today imposed 'ban' on entry of senior ET correspondent Asif Iqbal Naik inside DC Office Complex Kishtwar.
The DC Kishtwar while passing the order quoted the two FIRs, which already stand challenged in High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and the matter is sub-judice and in both the FIRs, DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana is one of the respondent along with outgoing SP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary whose practices in the form of mass scale transfers which were later rescinded at the instance of IGP Jammu along with mass scale suspension of policemen.
One of the two complaints was filed by a person who was dismissed by the leading bank of the state while a top rank Hizb militant commander Shokat Ahmed alias Warris who had been tasked by the militant outfit HM to eliminate the then BJP leader Sunil Kumar Sharma, now MLA Kishtwar was killed in security forces action inside the house of the said complainant who had the personal enmity with the "Early Times" refused to carry a self styled news item of the complainant who created a drama by attacking himself in Udhampur in October 2015 with an aim to spread communal disharmony in the state by putting the blame on the Hindu organization for attack on him which never took place as the investigating agencies including the police reached the conclusion that the self styled attack was aimed to dodge an inquiry into the frauds committed by him with the leading bank of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The DC Kishtwar was forced to apologize he humiliated a poor GRS in Thakrie area. The incident had triggered massive protest by the GRS.
It was not only the instance where DC Kishtwar lost cool-he misbehaved with Dy. CEO Kishtwar following which massive protest rocked Kishtwar district and Sectary Education snubbed him by revoking the suspension order of Dy. CEO Kishtwar issued by this controversial officer.
