AAP delegation from J&K calls on Delhi Chief Minister
9/11/2018 9:58:42 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 11: A deputation of J&K Aam Aadmi Party, drawn from all 20 Districts of Jammu & Kashmir, comprising of District & Constituency In-charges beside Organization Building Team along with their team mates, called on Delhi Chief Minister-Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday at his Delhi residence and discussed present political scenario in J&K State.
The Aam Aadmi Party delegation leaders from Jammu & Kashmir brought to the notice of Arvind Kejriwal that how the people of State have been put to untold miseries, bias, discrimination for last 70 years & how constitutional Institutions like Panchayati Raj Act 1989, People's Representation Act, Board of School Education & all anti-graft institutions have been made mere toothless tigers by making wild anti-people amendments in the relevant Acts as a result unprecedented corruption, nepotism, riggings in the Assembly elections thrived lavishly and hapless public watched the scenario helplessly.
The deputationists further brought to the notice of Arvind Kejriwal that unfortunately the educated un-employed and frustrated youth of the state have not been allowed to participate in the process of planning, execution and monitoring of their developmental activities by way of decentralization of powers in a constitutionally guaranteed mechanism of governance as a result there is great heart burning, anger and resentment against the Successive state as well central governments have gradually brewed up over the years who have tamed the people as simple beggars.
Addressing the deputationist the Delhi Chief Minister said that his lone message to the people of J&K state is to assess the dramatic & magical pace of development in Delhi particularly in the area of Education & Health, besides free water and electricity as also 40-services at the door step & if they want it in J&K State, then they should join AAP to get rid of age old evils. He further assured that he will visit the State in near future to assess the situation himself.
